Juanita was born in Gaspe, Quebec. She enjoyed a quiet life nestled beside the Gulf of the St. Lawerence in the Appalachian Mountains. Many Saturday mornings (before the sun was up) the entire family, including the great dane, loaded into the half ton truck to take a trip in the woods.

There were always cats around as a child. She’s still feeding strays who come to visit her backyard and welcoming them in, if they’re willing.

After reading her first historical romance at the age of fifteen, a passion was born. The desire to entertain others and help them escape, even for a brief moment. To help the reader laugh or cry with the characters. For them to root for the character’s success. To connect with the characters, feeling as if their time was well spent.
